Commercial disclosure
How this site earns
This site is an independent casino-hotel review and booking-request website. It may earn a commission if a reader books a hotel after using a link or the desk. The commission, when payable, comes from the hotel or a booking partner. It does not change the index, the parameter table or the order of the scores.

Referral links and the desk
The site has two commercial paths. A reader may open a hotel or booking-partner page from a profile, or may send a booking request through the desk. If that enquiry later becomes a completed hotel booking, the publisher may receive a referral commission from the hotel or booking partner.
The reader does not pay the commission to this site. The booking is between the reader and the hotel or booking partner. The site is not a travel agent of record unless that is stated separately by the booking partner on its own page.
The desk is a secondary option for readers who want availability checked by email. The relevant page is query the desk. It asks for practical booking information such as dates, headcount and the hotel being considered. It does not ask for card details. If payment is required, that is handled by the hotel or booking partner, not by this website.
Hotel pages link to the official hotel site so the reader can check current terms, inclusions and availability. Official-site links on profiles use nofollow. The commercial model is disclosed here so a reader can separate booking convenience from editorial scoring.
The index is not for sale
The ranking is based on the published scoring method, not on payment. The site scores ten Australian casino hotels across five groups: hotel, leisure, dining and entertainment, access, and transparency. The weightings are published in the method and weights.
A hotel, owner, operator or booking partner cannot buy a higher position. A commission arrangement does not add points. A hotel that publishes more usable information may score better for transparency; a hotel that does not publish a parameter is marked as not published and loses the relevant transparency credit. That rule applies whether or not the property has a referral arrangement.
The main comparison is the index, supported by the 30-parameter table and scores by group. Those pages are intended to let a reader check why one house sits above another. Where a value is not published in the source set, the table does not estimate it. Where a value comes from a secondary source, the profile or table should make that source quality clear.
Commercial discussions do not alter the roster. The site covers the ten named physical venues in the index. It does not list Treasury Brisbane as operating, because the facts record that Treasury Brisbane closed on 25 August 2024 when gaming moved to The Star Brisbane at Queen’s Wharf.
What happens after a query
- The reader sends a request. The form records the dates, room requirement and preferred hotel or hotels. No card details are requested.
- The desk checks the request. The desk may use the hotel’s own booking path, an official contact route, or a booking partner, depending on what is available for the requested stay.
- The reader receives a reply. The reply may point to an official hotel page, a booking-partner page or a direct hotel contact. If a booking is possible, the reader completes it away from this site.
- Any payment is handled elsewhere. Card entry, deposits, cancellation terms and identity checks are set by the hotel or booking partner. The reader should read those terms before booking.
- A commission may be recorded. If the booking is tracked and eligible, the hotel or booking partner may pay this site. The payment does not affect any published score.
The desk may not be able to quote availability for every property or date. Some official pages publish room, parking or check-in details; some do not. The profiles for all ten show the same approach: a parameter is quoted when it is in the facts, otherwise it is marked as not published.
What the site does not do
This website does not process hotel payments and does not ask for card details. It does not operate a casino, sell gambling products or provide online casino access. Australia bans online casino play under the Interactive Gambling Act 2001, and the venues covered here are physical buildings only.
The site also does not guarantee rates, room availability, inclusions or opening hours. Hotel information can change. The index uses dated facts and source quality notes so a reader can see what was published at the time of review. Current booking conditions remain with the hotel or booking partner.
Editorial corrections are separate from commercial enquiries. If a published hotel page adds a parameter, removes a venue, changes a closure notice or publishes a clearer value, the table can be updated under the same method. A commission offer is not a correction. A correction requires a source that can be checked against the site’s rules.
Readers who want the broader publisher position can read about. This page covers money: how the site may earn, what the reader pays, and why the index order is not for sale.
